Neil has been a real estate investor since 1987, a Licensed Florida Auctioneer since 1990, and a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker since 2009. Neil graduated from the State University of NY at Albany with a degree in Economics and Business administration, is a graduate of National Auction Training Center class of ’89, earned the Accredited Auctioneer of Real designation in 2009 and became a member The Certified Auctioneers Institute in 2010. Neil loves helping buyers realize their dreams, sellers achieve their goals and works diligently to exceed everyone’s expectations each and every day. Every agent that works at Saffer & Company must meet those same standards!

Neil, his wife Trisha and their 4 children Sam, Shana, Jack and Michae live work and play in Boca Raton Florida.

Mr. Saffer strongly believes in giving back to the community. He has coached youth sports for over two decades and is the past President of both The Rotary Fund of Boca Raton, and the Rotary Club of Boca Raton. Neil received the Rotarian of the year award in 2004, the special service award in 2008, and the service above self award in 2009., and The Florence Fuller Men with Caring Hearts volunteer of the year award in 2018. He has served on the board of directors of the American Cancer Society, the Nicholas R. Chiera Foundation, the Spanish River High School PTSA, The Tomorrows Promise Community School and the Gold Coast British Sports Car Club.

While abroad she obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) degree from Schule Schloss Salem boarding school in Germany. Living overseas has enabled Melanie to learn German fluently as well as a lexical knowledge of French and Italian.

After returning to the United States in 2002, she attended the University of Miami where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in psychology with a minor in business law. She subsequently utilized her psychology degree to administer behavioral therapy to children with autism for over 10 years while starting her real estate carrier. By implementing similar tools into her marketing & sales strategies, Melanie is able to understand the consumer base to help find a perfect match between buyers and sellers.

She currently lives in Palm City, FL in an unique fly in community with her husband and two children. Melanie loves sharing the beauty of the treasure cost lifestyle with her family and it brings her joy knowing others can experience it too.
